Foodie Trip | Colombia ART & EAT Workshop

February 17-25, 2024

Foodie Trip | Art and Culinary experience in South America

Introduction to Watercolors and Colombian Cuisine

Foodie Trip | Art and Culinary experience > This winter, instead of staying one “short” week somewhere in a Caribbean “compound”, why not staying a “long” week (9 days) in Colombia to experience the stunning Caribbean coast from Puerto Colombia (Barranquilla) to Cartagena. In an Anthony Bourdain’s kind of local food experience learn the fundamentals of Colombian Caribbean Cuisine… and watercolors.

After an art class, try the Mojarra con Arroz con Coco with a cold Colombian beer or Aguardiente. Paint on the beach just like Gauguin was doing in Tahiti. Visit a few restaurants’ kitchens and learn from their chefs. Take part in a food tour. Stay in centrally located small hotels. Paint, love, eat and drink summers up this unique vacation.  Being on of the authors’ birth place, she knows all the ins and outs of one of the most beautiful regions of South America. To keep a group intimacy, there will be a maximum of 8 participants for this annual “ART|EAT Walk the Arts”’ tour.
